Fleet

The Ahrenkiel Group has a diversified fleet of 53 vessels at present. It consists of 25 container ships, 5 chemical tankers, 8 product tankers, 1, crude oil tanker, 1 gas tanker and 13 bulk carriers. The fleet’s total carrying capacity totals 1,924,279 dwt. The average age of the vessels is 7.49 years (ex. 1 vessel > 20 years). About 80 per cent of the fleet sails under the Liberian flag; the other flag states include Germany, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Philippines and the Marshall Islands. The vessels are certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and the ISM /ISPS Code.
